The last week in my mind hasn’t been busy but the days seem to have gone with no spare time. The weather is a lovely now, cool mornings but by ten am it’s warm enough to enjoy being in the sun unlike a few weeks ago where we dodged from one shady area to another.
Thursday morning started off cloudy and driving to the beach the sun was just peaking through, looked like something shining beams down through the clouds, beam me up scotty! Sorry, weird sense of humour but it just struck me as funny.
The sky on the horizon looked beautiful.
My husband bought me a memory stick to save all my photos on, it’s 256GBs, plenty of memory, it’s so small I’m scared of losing it! at one end has the flash drive to plug into my new iPad, the connection is different to my other devices of course! the other end is to plug into my Pc, I also have a stick that goes from my iPhone to Pc, I’ve downloaded all my photos from my iPad and iPhone on to my PC but with so many duplicates I’ve been going through them all before saving them, a bigger job than I thought!
My ticket to the T party,
I saw these mugs in the Ale-hop store, love the lids although close up they look plastic so I’m not sure what will happen with hot tea beneath .
This is a statue on the Paseo depicting the Fishermen, someone likes to have a joke!!
We had the National Jet Ski competition on our beach all over the weekend, not the place for a quiet breakfast, what with the thud, thud of the music and the revving up of the jet skis, even the Barman from the next restaurant said it was getting on his nerves listening to it all day but it was good for business apparently.
They were much bigger than the ones you or I would be nipping around on, we felt for the poor fish, I wonder how many were scared to death as at the far end you see fish swimming around near the waters edge.
They clean the beach most mornings but at this end it stays in ridges, it feels like builders sand, I hate to walk on it as it's not soft under your feet, this end was obviously a man made area.
All back to normal this morning, thankfully a peaceful breakfast and walk.
Take Care,
Jan x

Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteYes, that sounds like a noisy event. Thankfully those things only last for a day, right?
ReplyDeletePretty mugs. I have a warming lid like those on my cup but it is made out of silicone. I am guessing it keeps the heat in?
Enjoy the week and the quiet.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
Isn't it so lovely to still have gotten summer like weather... beautiful water views. I enlarged the pic of the tea cups- and the lids do look like plastic but I wonder if they are silicone? Then there wouldn't be an issue with the heat of the tea. Enjoy the nice weather while it's still here, and happy T day!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I'm not a friend of noisy places, glad it didn't last too long. The cups look pretty. Happy T Day and have a great week, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI don't like noise either. I do like the sound of your big memory stick though, I could use some larger size sticks myself. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
ReplyDeleteI should do that with my photos. Get them all in one place. Really cute teacups especially the one with the black cat on top. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteI wonder about the size of these jetskis Jan. You said they were bigger. And that beach sand does look really rigid. It's interesting how beaches are different in different places. It's always also so interesting to learn about this. I hope it was a super T day Jan. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI am late visiting because my electricity was out from shortly before 5:00 p.m. last night for around 19 hours. My apologies if you think I had forgotten or was ignoring you.
ReplyDeleteSorry to read about all the noise on your beach. The sand looks like it's a plowed field, instead of a beach.
I should probably back my photos up with a memory stick, too. However, every time you add or delete something, you have to update it. I guess that is what holds me back from getting one.
Those cups are so cute. I'm sure the lids are silicone, which won't melt. Thanks for sharing your Fisherman statue (appropriately masked, of course), the beach, your beaming cloud photo, your new memory stick, and those cute mugs you shared with us for T this Tuesday, dear Jan.
I would not have liked that noise as well - I get anoyed byany noise created by racing things, loud pick-ups, tuned up cars etc. The mugs look cute. I like the first image very much.
ReplyDeleteHello sweet, Jan. I am with you - no time at the end of the day - just too much going on. Love those mugs! Super fun statue with the mask. I know you are glad for the peaceful return of your town. I am proud of you backing up everything! I need to do that soon! Happy T-day Hugz
ReplyDeleteHi Jan. I agree I just don't have enough time in the day. Nice mugs and wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I smiled at Scotty being beamed up. Beautiful photo though.
ReplyDeleteGreat that you have a memory stick that connects both systems. Some of these sticks come with a little ring so that you can keep them on a key ring or hang them up on a hook near the computer. Has yours?
Your beach sounds very noisy. I don't know what is worse, the thump of the bass music or the roar of the engines. In any case, not for me.
The mugs are fun. I'm sure the plastic will be able to withstand higher temperatures. There is an Ale-hop store in Almeria. It is fun.
Sorry I'm late but as you regulars know, we are away on Tuesday, and today we had a power cut so I'm even later (It's nine pm)
A belated happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
I have a big job with sorting, filing, and scrapping photos. And, now this week getting a new laptop. I will be going crazy. I will ask about one of those things that Steve got you. Maybe a good investment. Great post, Jan. Sorry, I am late, but this laptop won't get on the internet when I want to, just when it wants to! LOL Happy belated T Day.
ReplyDeleteI bet it was noisy from the beach. They wouldn’t allow events like that here as they are strict on protecting the dunes and stopping erosion. Your beaches are different. We have statues with bikinis and fun items in..lots of humour out there. We need it in today’s world. I started to go through all 80k photos on our pc a couple of years ago and gave up. So many duplicates. Good luck with yours. Have a wonderful day. Hugs jx
