In bloom

I'm joining Eileen in the Art Journal Journey, to use the colour Green I hope my offering is acceptable as I made it into a card, that will teach me for not reading the rules. It is still just over 8" x 4".
I used some DP for the BG as it was green and lilac, i added my stamp and some sand Texture Paste through a stencil, it actually stained the white paste green, I decided to add some glitter to the leaves to make them stand out and coloured the girls clothes using glitter markers! I've only just started to do some art Journal work so it's a work in progress until I make anything worth showing, Take Care Jan x

  2. I love your green card, Jan, whether it fits the Art Journal Journey rules or not. [I had to go read the rules myself to figure out what was wrong with it - lol.)

  3. It is a beautiful card and the colors are perfect for Eileen's challenge, although the "rules" say no cards. I know you'll know that for next time. And of course we want you back for sure. So make a journal page and join us please. Hugs-Erika

  5. That is a lovely card and it has texture on it, something I really like.
There are so many types of journalling so I am sure you will find one that satisfies you and I look forward to seeing what you do.

  6. You made a beautiful card with your page and I hope you will join us again. Maybe take a photo of the page before you make your card if it meets our size rules at Art journal Journey.

  7. It's a beautiful JOURNAL PAGE you turned into a card, dear Jan. Love it since it meets the size requirements, and fits Eileen's theme, too. Thanks beyond belief for sharing it, dear. I was thrilled to see your art here, because it is a genuinely well done entry.
